Evaluation - Question 5 - Luke

Our target audience would enjoy the film because it’s got a lot of enigma from the very start and we don’t give much away from the star this makes a good thriller.  For example I think the story was told through the use of editing. The reason for this is that the pace of the editing is very quick this could be a clue on what’s going on with the main character. We had in the first two minutes a match on action and a shot reverse shot. This I think suggest something is going to happen from the very start. As an audience you want this to happen.  The main aim for our audience was to create as much enigma as possible.  So as a group we decided to do a person who has a mental illness. We had to be very careful when doing this because this illness is very dangerous. So I agree we did stereotyped it however I thought it went well. We just said to Kayla the less you say the better. This would then start the audience to start guessing on what’s happening.  In the picture kayla is looking at the other swing and smiling. This is indicating that someone is there. However very quickly with a fade the swing is empty. This is more enigma for the audience by using continuity editing
